nano-novelling...

Success - I managed to get to the end of the story - hauled it in at 74,067 words!

Now I shall ease my mind away from it for a couple of weeks and then go back and do a bit of editing. Not that I shall be giving up writing - I'm going to have a bash at that flash-fiction stuff - have had a few ideas bouncing around in my brain that I'd like to explore...... :-)

  1. When you're ready with the flash fiction, send it my way and it could end up on Thrillers, Killers 'n' Chillers (has to be crime, noir, horror or thriller story to get on of course!).

I like to take a break from the novels by blasting out a bit of flash fiction or short story. It helps keep the mind active, without dwelling on the novel in progress. I think you'll enjoy the exercise.

  2. ooh! Thank ye! Not sure I can pull a complete story in on such a reduced word count - it's a bit of an art, but I'm game to try!

Thanks for your interest, Matt - and I have to say I was really not wanting to get to the end of J&W....I was trying to make it last!
Still, not long to wait for the next Hunter adventure!
